A depolarized ceramic will show near-zero piezoelectric response. If you have an impedance analyzer (we also sell the PV520A), you can sweep the transducer before and after reassembly to confirm recovery.

Do I need to re-polarize the ceramics after assembling the transducer?

No. Our ceramics are shipped fully polarized. The polarization axis aligns with the thickness direction. During assembly, maintain correct polarity orientation (all ceramics in a stack must be oriented the same way relative to the clamping bolt axis).

What silver electrode coating is used?

Standard silver (Ag) electrode. Gold (Au) electrode is available for custom orders where higher corrosion resistance is required.
